Hymn: In Christ's peace

I posted a prompt on ChatGPT asking for a 4-line, 6-stanza hymn based on John 20:19-31. I've made some adjustments and added a refrain, and we sang as one of the Communion Hymns. It can be sung to the tune of "Rock of ages" and "Go to Dark Gethsemane".

1. In the room where fear once reigned,
Jesus came, His peace proclaimed.

"Doubt no more," His gentle voice,
Bringing hope, our souls rejoice
.

In Christ’s peace, fear fades away,

His love guides us every day.

2. Thomas doubted, needing proof,

Yet in Christ, he found the truth.
“Touch my hands, my side," He said,

Faith restored, doubt's shadows fled.

In Christ’s peace, fear fades away,

His love guides us every day.

3. Blessed are those who do not see,
Yet believe in Christ, set free.
Through His wounds, our faith's secure,
In His love, we stand assured.
In Christ’s peace, fear fades away,
His love guides us every day.

4. Holy Spirit, breathe anew,

Faith and hope in hearts pursue.

Grant us grace to trust and live,

In the peace that Christ will give.

In Christ’s peace, fear fades away,
His love guides us every day

5. Risen Savior, Prince of Peace,

May our doubting fears decrease.

Let Your presence, Lord, abide,

In our hearts, forever guide.

In Christ’s peace, fear fades away,

His love guides us every day.

6. To the ends of earth we'll sing,

Of the hope that You did bring.

Alleluia! Christ is here,

Our Redeemer, ever near.

In Christ’s peace, fear fades away,

His love guides us every day.
